This site is dedicated to helping men and women of all ages lose weight with simple, common sense advice and guidance. It also exposes folk to good mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.
I have always tended to have a little belly flab which wasn’t that noticeable when I was young and very active. My ideal weight was always between 70 – 75 kgs but I chose to semi-retire last year and my weight ballooned . I made the decision on the 26th Dec. 2016 to do something about it . It was fear that drove me. I didn’t want to be stricken with the diseases associated with obesity.
Want to use this Website to show how I have gone about losing weight and in this way hope to help others to do the same.
Mindset – The perfect body is one that you feel happy and healthy in. Once you recognise that you deserve a happy, healthy life, all the choices you make become easy.
Nutrition – Not all calories are equal. An avocado may have more calories than a bag of sweets, but the sugar in the sweets converts to body fat, which is stored around your tummy, whereas the avocado contains essential fats, which can help speed up your metabolism and keep you feeling fuller for longer.
Movement – Exercise doesn’t mean putting on hot pants and jumping up and down for an hour every day; it can be a 45 minute walk, some gentle stretching and a few squats and lunges.
Sleep – If you exercise intelligently and eat nourishing foods but you are not sleeping well, it’s like having lots of fuel in your car, but a flat tyre. Sleep is when our body does most of its physical restoration.
Sleep is when the magic happens.
Read how the mind controls the body. If the mind is healthy, 10-1 the body will be healthy. If we take control of our thoughts we take control of our lives

COME ON EVERYONE, LET’S GO FOR IT. LET’S SEE WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO BE SLIM AND TRIM. LET’S SET A FEW GOALS. WE MUST HAVE ATTAINABLE GOALS. WRITE THEM DOWN AND STICK THEM UP AROUND YOUR SPACE. WE MUST SEE OUR GOALS FOR IF WE CAN’T SEE THEM HOW ARE WE GOING TO BE ABLE TO “HIT” THEM ?
